Reiki Healing Session
Before a session the practitioner will discuss the session with the client regarding the reason they are seeking a Reiki Healing session and any areas they would like the practitioner to focus on. This may just be a 5 minute chat or longer for a new client. At the beginning of a session, the client lays down on a massage table fully clothed, while easy listening music is played and incense burns to create a relaxing atmosphere. The practitioner begins the session by calling in the energies and will apply their hands to different places as required. The client will close their eyes and begin to relax as the session begins and the practitioner moves to different locations. The Reiki healing session would last 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the application of the energy. After a session, the client is given some water and a few minutes to rise from the relaxation Reiki brings. The practitioner and client may talk for a few minutes about the session if desired.
